    A Second Life Account:

If you don't have a Second Life Account (its free) go to http://yeshivabethhashem.org/SecondLife for links and helpful instructions. After going through the Caledon tutorial if you still have questions about set-up and play I will be happy to assist you. We wont be able to help with set-up during the meeting. If you are new to Second Life please create your account and go through the tutorial before the gathering. We will be using live media and setting up your mic. can take a bit of time. We recommend using headphones with a built in microphone to avoid feedback and sound distortion. If you don't have sound with your system you are still welcome to join us. There will be text information as well.

We plan to make our Second Life Yeshiva a major hub of our ministry. We hope you will take part.

  • Our first set of live Second Life meetings went quite well. I hope those of you who participated were blessed by the experience and that you will come back next week. Those of you who were unable to join us this week will hopefully come next time.

We plan to continue these "stand alone" sessions each week until April, when my wife and I are going to Israel for seven weeks. They will resume if we return.

    The Schedule:

WEDNESDAYS 10 AM AND 5 PM SLT (Pacific time zone).
As for now, the material will be the same in both sessions, although they will be unique depending on group participation. I am totally into doing more sessions etc. as involvement increases. Times are flexible so let me know what works best for you.

We also welcome (pre-approved) guest speakers and events. Contact me privately for more information.

Next week's topic will "Ethics of our Fathers." A look into Jewish ethics and morality.

     Shalom
