Iran NOW Has the Bomb (JTA)
As Iran achieves nuclear weapons capability, a red line is passed

WASHINGTON (JTA) – The debate about red lines on Iran appears to be over.
With its massive increase of operative centrifuges at a secured uranium enrichment site, Iran appears to have moved beyond the question of whether capability to build a nuclear weapon or actual acquisition of a nuclear weapon is the appropriate red line.
Iran already has achieved nuclear weapons capability, according to Michael Adler, an Iran expert at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
Adler studied the latest report of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Iran, which was leaked last week. It said that Iran soon could double the number of operating centrifuges at its underground Fordo nuclear site from 700 to 1,400. In all, the site has nearly 2,800 centrifuges in place, according to the report.
Fordo, near the holy city of Qom, is built into a mountainside. Israeli and Western officials say the site has been fortified against attack.
“As always with Iran, as time goes on they increase the facts on the ground,” Adler said. “Let's see what they do with the facts on the ground. What they do with their capability will determine whether they intend to be more threatening or reassuring.
“They’ve built up capacity -- let's see whether they use it or not,” Adler said.
The notion of what constitutes capability to produce a nuclear weapon long has been controversial. Groups that oppose military engagement with Iran charge that the term itself is unclear and the aim of those promoting it as a red line was to encourage a military strike. Others argued that with evidence of uranium enriched to "medium" levels -- just a step or two short of weapons grade -- Iran already had capability.
A Gallup poll published Monday found that Americans cited keeping Iran from developing a nuclear weapon as among the top three priorities of President Obama's second term, with 79 percent of respondents ranking the issue as "extremely" or "very" important.
For years, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government had led calls to set nuclear capability as the red line. Both parties in Congress backed that language, inserting it into a number of laws. The Obama administration resisted, instead seeking through diplomatic and economic pressures to persuade Iran to halt its suspected nuclear weapons program.
Netanyahu appeared to back down in September following months of pressure from Obama administration officials seeking to head off an Israeli strike on Iran. In a U.N. speech, Netanyahu set the Israeli red line at the point where Iran has made the decision to manufacture a bomb – essentially the position Obama had staked out.
In that speech at the U.N. General Assembly, Netanyahu said that point might come as soon as spring, and Obama appears to agree. Last week, Obama said the window for diplomacy is several months.
“I will try to make a push in the coming months to see if we can open up a dialogue between Iran, and not just us but the international community, to see if we can get this thing resolved,” the U.S. leader said. “I can't promise that Iran will walk through the door that they need to walk through, but that would be very much the preferable option.”
Western diplomats have told JTA that such a dynamic likely would culminate in one-on-one talks between the United States and Iran. The New York Times last week reported that the Obama administration was seeking such talks, though the White House denied it.
Heather Hurlburt, a speechwriter during the Clinton administration who now directs the National Security Network, a liberal/realist foreign policy think tank, noted that administration officials did not reject outright the prospect of one-on-one talks.
“There’s this interesting dance about one-on-one talks,” she said. “It's clear both sides are looking forward to having one on one.”
Obama, after his decisive election victory this month, has the mandate for such talks, Hurlburt said, partly because his challenger, Mitt Romney, toward the end of the campaign aligned his Iran policy with Obama’s, emphasizing diplomacy as the best way forward.
“There are a number of areas where Romney adopted the president’s foreign policy, and Iran was one,” she said, adding that polling shows the public prefers a diplomatic option.
Polling also shows that the public sees Iran as a priority, which could spur forward Obama administration urgency toward securing a deal.
Stephen Rademaker, a nuclear arms negotiator for the George W. Bush administration, said Obama deserves breathing space to explore such a deal – but that negotiations should be subject to close scrutiny.
“I would never fault the U.S. government for exploring whether Iran is prepared to reach a diplomatic settlement to suspend the enrichment program. Now is a good a time as any to test them on that,” said Rademaker, now a principal at a lobbying outfit, the Podesta Group. “My larger concern about negotiations with Iran is that the Iranians may say yes to what we see is a good deal, but the reverse is also true.”
One positive outcome, Rademaker said, would be a verifiable reduction in readily available enriched uranium, either through export or dedicated use in non-weapon capacities.
Michael Makovksy, a Bush administration Pentagon official who focused on Iraq and now directs the Bipartisan Policy Center’s foreign policy projects, said pressure should increase at least until a deal is achieved.
“You could increase those chances” of a deal “if you have much tougher sanctions, a much tougher embargo on Iran, but it's unclear whether other countries will go along with that,” Makovsky said.
Another option is to ratchet up pressure by sharing with Israel advanced weapons, including the latest generation of bunker-busting bombs, and increasing the U.S. profile in the Persian Gulf, he said.
“The element we need to be focusing on is boosting the credibility of the U.S. military option and of Israel's,” Makovsky said.

Obama will not do anything about this. It's very obvious where his allegiance is. He has assisted every single Islamic revolution in the Middle East and North Africa, while completely ignoring the Iranian Green Revolution, which was the ONLY secular revolution in the Middle East-North Africa region. If Iran gets nuclear weapons then there is no longer any hope for the Iranian people, and the security of the free world goes down considerably. There will be no foreign assistance provided to any Iranian revolutionaries, they will be on their own. Israel is the only hope of the free world, and whatever they do is going to be without the approval of the UN and the Obama administration. They will have to decided to do the own thing, and without anyone backing them up.
Very interesting Bro John, thanks for sharing. I hope prior to the onslaught of a war with Iran that our government set laws stopping the oil speculation. Or else the moment the war starts American citizens pay a huge price for the greedy Wall Streeter’s. Iran is suffering big time financially because of the sanctions, it is having an affect upon the people and perhaps the people shall make a change.
I saw today the Republicans once again want to keep the tax breaks for the rich while cutting back on the poor and working class. Here the rich don’t need social security so they are glad to raise it up even more.
Jas_2:6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
Jas_5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
@Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Shalom,
Agreed completely. As I've been saying since before his first election Barry Soetoro (aka Obama) is an undercover al Ikhwan operative. He does and will do whatever they dictate.
Pray that the government of Israel decides to listen to people like Moshe Feiglin and do what needs to be done. I was disappointed when they accepted this latest faux peace. Maybe the new Rebbe Nachman party will be able to shake things up... its all in HaShem's Hands.
Shalom
@Lewis1122 - @Lewis1122 - Well said as usual Lewis. As bad as Obama is I am so glad Romney lost. Baruch HaShem!
I've been trying (not with much effort hehe) to figure out how these e-props and minis work. I'm trying to give you one of each with this post. If this doesn't work, do you know they work? I've written Xanga a few times asking for direction but they never write back.
Shalom and have a great week!
@johnofallfaith - I don't get how these things work. I just give them to myself it appears...
Xanga good is many ways but I wish they would:
1. let images be used in comments
2. either explain how minis and e-props work or respond to e-mails.
Oh well...
If anyone understands how to do either please let me know.
Shalom
@johnofallfaith - Well one thing is that God has a special relationship with Israel that he does not have with any other people group, and he will always protect them from destruction no matter how many other nations go up against them. The rest of us just have to bear down and prepare for the hammer blow as best we can. Actually, I tend to think that when Jesus said to fly to the hills in the last days he was talking to gentile believers as well. Maybe we can run and hide to a certain extent.
Anyways, who is Rebbe Nachman?
@Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Shalom,
For the most part I agree with you here. The only place we differ is on who Rebbe Y'shua was speaking to in Matthew 24. As I read it, the entire chapter is speaking to and of Jews only. As the Tribulation period begins (well before the midpoint) the Church will be have been "vomited out" of God's presence (as the ten houses were circa 722/721 BCE). They will join the new religion of Greater Babylon.
Those Gentiles (Christians and others) who reject the Beast will be scattered throughout the planet. At Matthew 24:32 the focus is on Israel (beginning in 1948). The topic continues to follow the Jews through their sufferings. With verse 43 the topic is still focused on house Judah (and the goodmen of the house who pay heed to his warning). Those Jews who are in Judea at this point and who flees into wilderness are those under discussion.
This is confirmed at Revelation 12: The woman clothed with the sun and moon is clearly speaking of Am Israel, the Jews as I discuss in that video and study. As they flee to Petra the Jews of Judea are being chased by the forces of the Global Union (hence should not return home for their things -- Matthew 24:15-19). Revelation 12:6: And the woman [Israel/the Jews of Judea] fled into the wilderness, where she [no one else is included] hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her [the Jews] there a thousand two hundred and threescore days [i.e. the last 31/2 years of the Tribulation].
I see no Gentiles in any of these verses. The reason for the safety of Petra is to protect the Elect people [the Jews] from annihilation (Matthew 24:22). There would be no reason for non-Jews to be brought there. They will be serving with 144,000 throughout the globe.
Time will tell of course.
You: Anyways, who is Rebbe Nachman?
Rebbe Nachman (April 4, 1772 – October 16, 1810) is one of the greatest sages in Israel's history. He was the founder of the Breslov Hassidic movement. He was also a great grandson of the highly esteemed Baal Shem Tov, the rebbe who restored Jewish mysticism with the creation of the Hassidic movement.
According to some Breslovers (not all) Rabbi Yisroel Ber Odesser (Saba) received a miraculous note ("petak") from Rebbe Nachman that included the signature: "
Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman."
It is believed that this phrase was "revealed" by Rebbe Nachman and taught by Rabbi Yisroel Ber Odesser, a well known Breslov figure (who was born in 1888 in Tiberius). Saba was among the first Breslover Hasidim in Israel, having learned about the movement when he was a young yeshiva student.
When Saba was 33 years old, he was overcome with weakness and hunger while observing the Fast of Tammuz so he decided to eat. But immediately after eating, he felt great sorrow
at having succumbed to his own physical temptations and broken the fast. After five
continuous days of prayer, a powerful thought came to him: "Go into your
room!" He obeyed the inner voice, went to the bookcase, and randomly
opened a book. In the book was a piece of paper that he would later call
"The Letter from Heaven" [the petek]. The paper was written in Hebrew with one line in Yiddish:
It was very difficult for me to come down to youmy precious student to tell you that I had pleasurevery much from your devotion and upon you I saidmy fire will burn untilMessiah is coming be strong and courageousin your devotionNa Nach Nachma Nachman MeumanAnd with this I will reveal to you a secret and it is:Full and heaped up from one extreme to another extreme (PTPTYH) [The name of an angel in charge of sounding the shofar].And with the strengthening of your devotion you will understand it and a signThe 17th of Tammuz they will say that you don't fast
Saba believed the letter was a message of consolation and instruction from Rebbe Nachman's spirit and many (including me) believe he was correct. Since his name did
not appear in the petek as the recipient, Saba determined that this meant the instruction was intended for every person who would receive it rather than to him alone. Odesser adopted Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman
as his personal meditation and song, and became so totally identified
with it that he later said, "I am Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman!" (This
quote appears on Odesser's tombstone in Jerusalem.)
The emerging Breslov party is hoped by many to have Messianic implications based on the Petek and other teachings. Nanachs believe that by singing and broadcasting Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman to as many people as possible (especially Jews) it will hasten the coming of haMoshiach. The vast majority of Nanachs live in Israel. Most who embrace the Breslov sect in other countries emigrate there (in part because of the teaching that haMoshiach will call all Jews Home to Israel. If one is Jewish and accepts this teaching and one truly believes his coming is imminent, making aliya (i.e. relocating to Israel) only makes sense.
There is great hope among the Breslovers and others (especially the Nanachs) that haMoshiach's coming is imminent. The Nanachs routinely take to the streets of Israel in joyous proclamation of this hope. I posted a blog with videos of them a while back here: http://johnofallfaith.xanga.com/767692038/so-you-wanna-be-a-nanach
Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman
@johnofallfaith - Hmm, OK. So we pretty much have to go into hiding and scrounge then. I had this dream once, and it's been a few years so I don't remember it as clearly as I did, but I had this dream about Obama, Janet Napolitano, and the UN. In my dream Obama and Janet Napolitano arbitrarily decided to restrict people's movement. The cover story was that humans were damaging the environment too much, so they were going to divide the US up into human zones and nature zones. In order to ensure the separation they were going to build walls around the human zones to keep people in. I don't remember everything at this point, but I do remember that they were not very large relatively speaking, and that people were scrambling to get out before all the walls went up. I can't remember whether or not I got out, I just remember being really frantic and desperate.
Yea I started to watch your prophecy videos but wasn't able finish. Hopefully I can this weekend.
OK, I saw that Nachman entry a while back but didn't understand it. I wonder if there is any truth behind those guys?
@Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Shalom
My understanding is that during the just shy of seven years life is going to be incredibly difficult for everyone and most people will not survive. The numbers on the Georgia Guidestones are probably about accurate:
The Guidestones:
From my site: http://allfaith.com/prophecy/guidestones.html
In June 1979 "someone" unknown hired Elberton Granite Finishing
Company of Elberton Georgia, U.S.A. to build the structure. That's all
we can say for sure.
The following Global Elite declarations are clearly presented in a
set of ten "guidelines" or engraved principles as follows. They are
written in eight different languages, one language on each face of the
four large upright stones. Moving clockwise around the structure from
due north, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi,
Hebrew, Arabic, ancient Chinese, and Russian. The message in English
reads as follows:
MAINTAIN HUMANITY UNDER 500,000,000 [which means it must first be lowered to this number]
IN PERPETUAL BALANCE WITH NATURE
GUIDE REPRODUCTION WISELY —
IMPROVING FITNESS AND DIVERSITY
UNITE HUMANITY WITH A LIVING
NEW LANGUAGE
RULE PASSION — FAITH — TRADITION
AND ALL THINGS
WITH TEMPERED REASON
PROTECT PEOPLE AND NATIONS
WITH FAIR LAWS AND JUST COURTS
LET ALL NATIONS RULE INTERNALLY
RESOLVING EXTERNAL DISPUTES
IN A WORLD COURT
AVOID PETTY LAWS AND USELESS
OFFICIALS
BALANCE PERSONAL RIGHTS WITH
SOCIAL DUTIES.
PRIZE TRUTH — BEAUTY — LOVE —
SEEKING HARMONY WITH THE
INFINITE
BE NOT A CANCER ON THE EARTH —
LEAVE ROOM FOR NATURE
A shorter message appears on the four vertical surfaces of the
capstone, again in a different language and script on each face. The
explanatory tablet near the Guidestones identifies these
languages/scripts as Babylonian Cuneiform (north), Classical Greek
(east), Sanskrit (south), and Egyptian Hieroglyphs (west), and provides
what is presumably an English translation:
"Let these be guidestones to an age of reason."
Many of the popular post-Apocalypse Sci-Fi movies like Mad Max are probably fairly accurate of what life will be like during the Seven Years, with the exception that a massive UN military police presence (the Blue helmets) will be controlling most cities and patrolling other areas to some degree and the Mark will be the only currency. IF I am correct about the US, I expect most of the country to be under UN/Global Union control while scattered pockets of resistance organized into rival fiefdoms will probably survive much of it.
Obama [Romney/Ryan] and W. Bush are just tools in my opinion.
Have you seen the video of my wife's dream? http://allfaith.com/prophecy/andy.html Sort interesting concerning how the fall of the US might begin.
Truth is, we all theorize but none of know for certain how these things are going to go down. Among the Nazi Resistance movement wilderness safe zones and other hiding places were maintained for those who are old, young, disabled, as well as for the active Resistance for planning, recuperation etc. I assume there will be such places. With modern technologies and tracking it will be very difficult however (think of live Google Earth on steroids). The prophecy concerning the Jews going to Petra however is as I've explained to the best of my knowledge. We plan to visit Petra this April/May when we're in Israel (it will depend on the situation between Israel and Jordan at the time) and I hope to have a lot of pictures and videos to share.
I was skeptical of the Petek when I first learned about it but I've known about Rebbe Nachman for many many years and have always held him in the deepest of admiration. The "Nanachs" are serious about what they are doing and they are living their faith daily. They are an inspiration and support to millions despite their small membership. I've been regularly singing
Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman
for quite some time and incorporating into my prayer life and I have gradually become convinced of its authenticity by applying it. I believe that when one regularly and with emunah (faith) utilizes the "Song of Redemption" Rebbe Nachman "intercedes" for us in the same way as Rebbe Y'shua and ones spiritual life grows and is enhanced thereby. This of course raises various important questions that one must grapple with individually, and I have. As all Orthodox Jews they obviously don't accept Rebbe Y'shua due in large part to the Church version of him and his teachings. I completely understand this. But I believe that this Breslov sect is anointed by HaShem to restore and encourage Jewish emunah as well as that of those Gentiles HaShem attracts to them. I believe this sect is of G-d.
Peace, Light and Love
