Pre-Mark of the Beast Comes to Texas!
US school tag tracker project prompts court row
Source: BBC
A court challenge has delayed plans to expel a Texan student for refusing to wear a radio tag that tracked her movements.
Religious reasons led Andrea Hernandez to stop wearing the tag that revealed where she was on her school campus.
The tags were introduced to track students and help tighten control of school funding.
A Texan court has granted a restraining order filed by a civil rights group pending a hearing on use of the tags.
ID badges containing radio tags started to be introduced at the start of the 2012 school year to schools run by San Antonio's Northside Independent School District (NISD). The tracking tags gave NISD a better idea of the numbers of students attending classes each day - the daily average of which dictates how much cash it gets from state coffers.
'Mark of the beast'
Introducing the tags led to protests by some school students at John Jay High School - one of two schools out of 112 in the NISD catchment area piloting the tags.
Ms Hernandez refused to wear the tag because it conflicted with her religious beliefs, according to court papers. Wearing such a barcoded tag can be seen as a mark of the beast as described in Revelation 13 in the Bible, Ms Hernandez's father told Wired magazine in an interview.
NISD suspended Ms Hernandez and said she would no longer be able to attend the John Jay High School unless she wore the ID badge bearing the radio tag. Alternatively it said Ms Hernandez could attend other schools in the district that had not yet joined the radio tagging project.
The Rutherford Institute, a liberties campaign group, joined the protests and went to court to get a restraining order to stop NISD suspending Ms Hernandez.
Ms Hernandez refused to wear a name tag containing an RFID (radio-frequency identification) chip
A district court judge has granted the restraining order so Ms Hernandez can go back to school and ordered a hearing next week on the NISD radio tag project.
The Rutherford Institute said the NISD's suspension violated Texan laws on religious freedom as well as free speech amendments to the US constitution.
"The court's willingness to grant a temporary restraining order is a good first step, but there is still a long way to go - not just in this case, but dealing with the mindset, in general, that everyone needs to be monitored and controlled," said John Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute in a statement.
Mr Whitehead said student tagging and locating projects were the first step in producing a "compliant citizenry".
"These 'student locator' programmes are ultimately aimed at getting students used to living in a total surveillance state where there will be no privacy, and wherever you go and whatever you text or email will be watched by the government," he said.

It's unbelievable that something like that would start in Texas.
@Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Yep. Texas is ahead in some areas and behind in others.
Shalom Rabbi, pray that you had a blessed T-Day and a blessed Sabbath. It is a shame this is coming about but Mr. Whitehead does a great job with the work he does. I am sure something will come of this. It would not surprise me if the Government in DC had something to do with wearing these RF chips. Thank you for posting this. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - Shalom my friend,
Thanks for the kind wishes.
I don't observe the US Thanksgiving holiday personally (although we do go to a family dinner at my mother-in-law's house, and it was nice) but I hope yours was nice and enjoyable. Time invested with family and friends is always good.
These tags are apparently in use throughout much of Europe. This seems to be the opening salvo in the US to see if the We the People will accept this latest abuse of the liberty -- it appears we will, yet again! That it comes from Texas is sort of ironic given the flurry of "Texas will secede before embracing globalism" posts on the internet over the past few months.
The federal junta is deeply enmeshed in all of these sorts of things. I agree with you. They are like perfumed pigs being manipulated by the globalist nose rings they wear.
Pray!
Shalom
I don't either keep T-day the way most do here. I celebrated with a service at the Assembly. So it was a Religious time.
But I am glad we are on the same thinking. And D.C. is pushing this through the Buidenburger (not spelled right I think), and all the other groups that helped get Obama back in office, and they pressured him to pressure in Texas for this RF thing. That is how I see it. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - Shalom my friend,
I still think Romney lost because the majority of Americans saw him and Ryan for what they are. Had the GOP run nationalist patriots we'd have a Constitutionally elected government now.
I don't like Obama but I'm relieved he beat Romney/Ryan.
@johnofallfaith - When you look at the picture of the US, Rabbi, and you see all the red, there was more than the blue. What really got Obama elected was the Electoral vote. Nothing really is going to get done for 4 more years, because the Congress run by the GOP will not allow it. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - Not much point going over the election results probably, but Obama won the popular vote and the electoral vote decidedly:
<table border="2" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td class="name">Barack H. Obama<td class="name">Joseph R. Biden, Jr.<td class="name">Democratic
<td class="num">64,180,310
<td class="num">50.79%
<td class="num">332
<td class="num">61.7%
<tr>
<td class="mid"><td class="name">Willard Mitt Romney<td class="name">Paul Ryan<td class="name">Republican
<td class="num">60,048,266
<td class="num">47.52%
<td class="num">206
<td class="num">38.3%
As I was watching the numbers add up that night I called it before the Texas vote was even in. Romney never had a chance. The majority of voters were not willing to outsource the nation to the highest bidder and have the safety net dismantled. Romney's pick of Ryan and his fascist agenda and his support for the destruction of Social Security and medicare, plus his absolute lack of experience gave Obama four more years. As I said before the election, the blame lays on the GOP for running him and on those Republicans who were allowed to vote in the Primaries (unlike those of us in the most populous state who didn't get a vote) for not selecting one of the qualified candidates.
I agree with you, we'll doubtless have gridlock for the next 4 years as the nation "goes off the cliff."
HaShem is in control and the prophecies are rapidly falling into place.
Peace, Love and Light
I will say just this about the election, from a friend whom votes at a machine. State will not be mentioned. He could not vote for Romney because the machine when he hclick that vote it read Obama. So how much fraud was there. And yes we will get nothing done for 4 more year. Rabbi. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - No one who cares about their vote should the rigged machines. Always use paper ballots. W. Bush won his second term by rigging them.
Anyway... the election is over and Obama has 4 more years to bring in the Global Union. Doubtless he'll do his best to make this happen. Our focus must be on HaShem and on our coming King.
Shalom
@johnofallfaith - This is what I will say Rabbi, some places uses machines and you tap a pen on a screen and that is the vote. No paper. And I don't really think President Bush did any such thing. Remember I am a Constitution Party member.And yes, we need to focus on the Almighty for sure. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - Howdy,
There is lots of solid evidence that W lost both elections. He was never legally/Constitutionally elected. The first was done kicking thousands of Blacks and Latinos off the Florida ballot (where his brother and campaign manager were election officials) and the second time he won by rigged election machines in Illinois and elsewhere. The US has not had a Constitutionally eligible president since Clinton.
Here in California they want us to use the machines but if you insist you can get a paper ballot. I think (I'm not positive) that all states are required to offer paper ballots. Now people are even voting by e-mail and phone! Oy! US elections are a joke. One never really knows who wins. I may not even bother to vote anymore, I'm considering it. Most of my friends no longer vote for similar reasons. Its truly sad what has become of this once free once Republic.
I'd probably join the Constitution Party if they didn't have Chuck Baldwin and support his Antisemitic policies. I like much of what they say. But as Rebbe Y'shua: "My kingdom is not of this world."
Shalom
Shalom Rabbi, where my friend lives, the ballot machine somewhat like a touch pad they use and no paper. So some States have removed the paper ballots because of cost. Here we do mail in and you vote at home. At least the Constitution Party has a platform that they stand on the Almighty and the Constitution the way it was meant to be. And we are not of this world for sure. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - Shalom,
I like you Doc. I wish we agreed more though
But I do enjoy our discussions.
You: ....At least the Constitution Party has a platform that they stand on the Almighty and the Constitution the way it was meant to be...
JoA: Seems to me that no one who opposes Israel can be accurately said to stand for God Almighty. G-d is the God of Israel and yet the Constitution Party advocates cutting off all US funding to and support for Israel. Its not enough Scripturally to say one supports their "right to exist," the command is to be an active blessing to Israel:
"I bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you."
The Constitution Party advocates removing the "blessings" currently bestowed on Israel by Americans, which is in reality cursing them directly. Billions of US dollars would continue to go to Israel via oil etc and yet Israel would be left with nothing.
How can one say that such a party "has a platform that they stand on the Almighty" when they would abandon His people to their enemies?
Peace, Love and Light
@johnofallfaith - And I like you Rabbi, but Religious people don't always agree on everything.
What I think if you study the Constitution Party and understand. I think they mean the was Israel is now.
Because the way Israel is now, both you and I know that they are only following Yahvah Almighty in Name only. Sad to say.
So I think if they (Israel) were to really follow Yahvah you would see a shift if what the Constitution Party would stand for with Israel.
I think you have noticed or at least I have that Israel since they became a Nation, in the last 20 years they are moving more and more away from Yahvah and going their own way and doing their own thing.
Have a blessed Sabbath, and Shabbat Shalom. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc -
You: And I like you Rabbi, but Religious people don't always agree on everything.
JoA: True enough Doc, and maintaining friendship while respecting differences is a sign of spiritual maturity
You: ...Because the way Israel is now, both you and I know that they are only following Yahvah Almighty in Name only. Sad to say....
JoA: I disagree with this strongly. Israel is becoming more Torah observant every day (they still have a way to go of course). There is a firm foundation of devout, Torah observant Jews in Israel and in the the government. But that doesn't matter in this case. As foretold, HaShem reestablished the nation in 1948 and restored Jerusalem in 1967. Those who oppose Israel are not opposing the Jews, they are opposing HaShem. Jews are far more Torah observant than Christians are (plus they don't disrespect His Name).
Shalom,
Have a great week.
@johnofallfaith - @johnofallfaith - Rabbi, The reason I said I made the comment like I did about name only is because because Elder Fauth of Jerusalem Acres church of God, 7th Day says it was that way. And he has lived and been in Jerusalem for the past 40 years and been the Pastor of the Assembly I mentioned. So he should know not I. And that is what he says. Bro. Doc
