  • Very interesting Bro John, thank you. I can see how people shall take the mark and understand how it can control those who take it. Even now how many are willing to die to self to serve the Lord, as we know there is no middle ground. I understand not wanting to do and yet still doing such as my being over weight. From drugs gambling alcohol to sexual addictions the carnal man already controls many. There are people all the time that die from their addictions, allowing their carnal man to lead them to physical and perhaps spiritual death. So I can understand how easily it will be for many to take the mark, it is much easier to go along than to resist.

    Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

    Rom 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

    Mat 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

    Luk 9:23  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

    What is your thoughts upon the mark/seal of God?

    Eze_9:4  And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

    Rev_9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

    I discussed the sealing of God's people in my study at http://allfaith.com/prophecy/revelation/rev9.html.

    As the Church ("those who say they are Jews and are not") are vomited out into the Tribulation period those "who hear my voice" will be called by HaShem and His messiah into service as the 144,000 Israelites and the Great Multitude of Gentiles. Their sealing by haMoshiach is what is discussed here. It will be their anointing.

    In that study I have this:

    .... As this divine sealing takes place around the globe ever greater
    darkness will descend over the hearts and minds of unrepentant humanity.
    Rex Mundi will strut and crow ever more arrogantly. Those who are being
    sealed by HaShem at that time will abide in the Light even as they
    symbolically don their death robes. They will be a remnant of the earth
    but they will stand! Like Job they will declare into the very face of
    Heylel that whether HaShem slays them or grants them life they will
    remain forever His faithful servants. They are "willing sheep to the
    slaughter," this 144,000 Israelites and this Great Multitude of Goyim
    (Job 13:15, Psalm 44:22). And as their corpses fall to the ground these
    faithful martyrs will doubtless recite the Shema:

    Shema Yisrael Adonai Elohaynu Adonai Echad

    "Hear Israel, Adonai is our God, Adonai is One"
